Youth Activities

Girls Softball
For ages 5 - 19
This is an independent organization and games are played at 3 softball fields at the Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex starting March - June. The Brownwood Girls Softball Organization adopts rules for play, set fees, and administers the program.

Boys Baseball

For ages 6 - 12
This is an independent organization and games are played on 3 baseball fields at the Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex and Mayes Field. The season starts in April - July. The Brownwood Freshman League Youth Baseball Organization adopts rules for play, set fees, and administers the program.

Sophomore Baseball

For ages 13 and 14
This is an independent organization and games are played on Green complex, on Baseball Field #2 at Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex.
The season starts in April - July. The Brownwood Freshman League Youth Baseball Organization adopts rules for play, set fees, and administers the program.

Teenage Baseball
For ages 15 - 18
This is an independent organization and games are played on Green Complex Field #3 at the Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex. The season starts in April through July. The Texas Teen-Age Baseball/Softball Program adopts rules for play, set fees, and administers the program.

Soccer
There are 2 independent organizations that offer soccer to children in Brownwood.

Soccer 4 Fun
For ages 4 - 12
This is a fall program at Camp Bowie Soccer Complex.   Soccer 4 Fun can be contacted via their Facebook page
 
Cen-Tex Soccer
For ages 5 - 18 
 Cen-Tex Soccer is offered in the fall and spring at the Camp Bowie Soccer Complex on 2201 Calvert Drive. 
 
Tennis Program
Free Lessons are given for ages 7 and up. The 3 week program is given in June at Coggin Park 8 a.m. - Noon.

Track Program
This program is conducted by the Brownwood High School Track Coach. Those ages 6 through high school are eligible to participate in the 2 week program.

The program starts in July at the Gordon Wood Stadium. Those in the program are preparing for the Regional Meet of the Texas Amateur Athletic Association.

The only charges are those entry fees for the Regional Meet. This program has been offered by the Brownwood Independent School District in last few years.

Texas Amateur Athletic Federation
