Yes, it is required that all vehicles be weighed in at the scale house upon arrival, then again on departure in order to get the weight without the load. Through this weighing process, the daily incoming waste tonnage can be calculated and listed in databases for record keeping.Landfill

Yes, everyone that uses our facility will be charged the current gate rate based on where you are coming from. Example; City of Brownwood, Brown County or Out of County.

Commercial Garbage
The commercial division offers collection from one to six times per week. The neighboring business may have requested a different pickup day or may be paying for more or less pickups than you. All commercial cans should be labeled with the pickup days. For example: M/TH = Monday and Thursday.

Commercial customers are offered pickup any where from 1 - 6 times per week. To qualify for Saturday pickup you must be paying for 4 pickups per week.Commercial Garbage

Commercial Garbage
A special pick up can be requested by calling the Sanitation Department at 325-643-4200 (we call this a Hotshot). The fee is based on a prorated charge for dumpster pickup or $50.00 per dumpster emptied, whichever is greater. There must be someone there to authorize and sign a ticket before the driver can perform the hotshot.

There is a $36.00 fee for each dumpster that is deodorized. You may make a request by calling the sanitation department at 325-643-4200.
