Brownwood units arrived to find a fast-moving grass fire between the railroad tracks and the Pecan Bayou. Early units and Texas A&M Forest Service engines were staged on the east side of the Pecan Bayou to assist with Zepher FD on the initial Attack. Units were able to reach containment of the grass fire at 6:14 pm Wednesday evening. A total of 72 acres were burned in the grass fire.
