The new trucks are 2023 Chevy Silverados with a 4X4 option for off-road use. These vehicles are replacing a 2012 Chevy Tahoe and a 2016 Chevy Ex-Police vehicle for the Fire Department’s use. These vehicles are driven by our Command Staff who provide Incident Command during all complex Fire and EMS responses.
Each vehicle is outfitted and equipped with Mobile Data Computers that are used to track personnel and equipment, multiple radios to run a large fire or EMS incident, basic EMS equipment including an AED, firefighting gear, and incident rehab supplies.
