[ARCHIVED] Free County-Wide Clean Up

If you need to dispose of unwanted clutter, now is the time to do so!
Volunteers from the the non-profit organization, "Keep Brownwood Beautiful" (KBB) partnered with the City of Brownwood will be holding ONE cleanup this year on Saturday April 9 from 8 a.m. till 12 p.m. They will set up a site underneath the Austin Avenue overpass, where the community is invited to come drop off unwanted junk. Dispose of your garbage, recyclables, metals, old electronics all for free. **No hazardous waste Please.** Cars, vans and pickup trucks are allowed to enter the site, but trailers must take their junk to the City of Brownwood Landfill. Anything that is not accepted at the site can be taken the to landfill as well.
